The PPA is a professional organisation established with the aim of supporting and creating a truly non-sexist and democratic education system. As an association they would like to see those responsible deliver on their promises to level the education playing fields. The PPA aims to address the issue of equal number of teachers and non-teaching staff as well as the provision of equal physical and sport infrastructure across all schools.

The association stands firmly with the poor to assist schools as best they can, and strives to provide access to information and raise awareness of the socio-economic circumstances affecting the best interest of learners and educators. It aims to form meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships with businesses and individuals to raise funds to assist schools and help learners with bursaries.
