Brenden Lesch
My name is Brenden Lesch and I am a physicist. This is who I am and who I wanted to be. When I was younger, I loved going to the library to read. There I found a book that had a huge sphere on the cover. These pictures were so detailed and I just loved looking at them. This was my introduction to science. Those spheres were stars and planets; the pitch blackness was outer space. This intrigued me and has stayed with me ever since. Primary and high School did not change my mind about a career in science. I just learnt more and more about the world and that curiosity is what kept my drive for science going. Now I am living out my dream of becoming a physicist. The Mitchells Plain Bursary and Role Model Trust allowed me to follow my dream and for that I am forever thankful.
